Bluebirds is a poetic, literary fiction story of hope, happiness and heartache for parents and children alike. Told in the voice of a tall tale, it is about a family of birds who each have very different paths. A story with strong values and hard decisions, it follows the protagonist Bookbeak through his encounters with other birds and the hatching of his own littlebird. Eerie mirrors of our own society round out the setting. Positive and uplifting, it doesn’t shy away from the hard realities of bad decisions.
